Work that goes beyond a regular service visit
Most pest problems are handled on a recurring plan. Some are not. Tenting and fumigation, wildlife, birds and insulation are jobs with their own equipment, access requirements and timelines. Tenting and fumigation
Fumigation is a whole structure treatment rather than a spot treatment. The building is sealed under tenting, treated, then aerated and cleared before anyone returns inside. It is the approach used when activity is established throughout a structure rather than contained to one area, which is most often the case with drywood termites.
Whether a structure is a candidate depends on what is living in it, how far it has spread and how the building is put together. That is an assessment, not a phone estimate.

Wildlife trapping and removal
Wildlife work covers the animals that move into a building rather than the insects. Raccoons, squirrels, opossums and skunks turn up in attics, crawl spaces, chimneys and roof lines across the Bay Area.
Getting the animal out is half the job. The other half is finding how it got in and closing that off, because an open entry point gets used again. Wildlife work is regulated in California, and what is appropriate depends on the species and the situation.

Bird abatement and bird proofing
Bird work is mostly about making a surface unattractive to land or nest on. Netting, spikes, wire systems and solar panel screening are the common approaches, and which one fits depends on the structure, the species and how much pressure the site is under.
Solar arrays come up often. The gap under the panels is sheltered and warm, and once birds nest there you get noise, droppings and debris on the roof below. Some birds and nests are legally protected, so the species determines the approach.

Insulation cleaning, repair and replacement
Rodents do not just live in insulation, they damage it. Tunnelling flattens it and droppings contaminate it, which is why an attic can still smell long after the activity has stopped.
This work covers removing affected material, cleaning the space and replacing the insulation. It is usually the step that comes after the pest problem itself has been dealt with.
